Apple has recalled their famous Beats Pill XL speakers. This is after a customer complained about the speakers catching on fire. Apple had no idea this would happen. These speakers were put through many different tests, but the possibility of catching on fire was never shown as an issue.
These speakers have been sold to thousands upon thousands of individuals. However, Apple is able and willing to give every customer his/her money back; these speakers cost an approximate 400 dollars.
All a customer has to do is call Apple and verify he/she has these speakers in his/her possession. Apple will then send the customer a box to send the speakers back in; this is so no customer has to spend money on postage. Once Apple receives the speakers, they will immediately send a reimbursement check to the customer.
Apple is going to have a meeting about this situation. This has never happened to on of their products. They want to know where the mistake happened and who is responsible for this situation.
Apple never wants to see this happen to any of their products ever again. They also never want to hear about one of their customers being injured due to one of their products.
Beyond a reimbursement check, Apple is also considering sending customers of these speakers some additional benefits. This maybe a surprise package of Apple products, or this maybe a new set of different Apple speakers. Apple wants all of their customers to be happy at all times; this is above everything else.
